Bill and Diane Marimow (Editor of The Inquirer)
In the last five years, Mary Genovese Colvin and Margaux Pelegrin have bought two homes for us and sold one, so I can say with confidence that their real estate skills are stellar. Based on my experience, the two of them are experts in appraising a home’s realistic market value, matching their clients with properties that are suitable to their tastes and their budgets and, most importantly, providing consistently excellent client service. Whether we called or e-mailed Mary or Margaux at 6 a.m. or 6 p.m., we always heard back within an hour — often less.
In closing, I want to cite one dramatic example of Mary’s resourcefulness and her commitment to her clients: In September 2011, in the midst of a major hurricane on the day of our settlement, Mary quite literally rescued us when she found a roofer to address a serious leak that occurred within hours of our closing. As my wife and I drove off to a wedding in Woodstock, New York, Mary was able to call us and assure us that the problem had been solved and all systems were “go.” As a result of that experience and many others, my wife Diane and I give Mary and Margaux our strongest possible endorsement.
